I sim'd two of those drivers in an X12.

It will work in the X12, but you will want to cut them around (roughly guessing) 175 Hz to avoid excessive cone movement and the power compression going on.
Otherwise it is pretty flat from 200-1000Hz |

Just played around with the new PRV Audio 12W700
It works well in an X12, it plays much lower F3=62, no power compression. Its in the same price range as te selenium, but less sensitive and requires more power. And its cone stays within xmax all the way down to around 50hz But I dunno its quality/reliability since its a new company Edited by DiscernAudio - 10 January 2013 at 5:09pm |
